Tuning feedback signals to avoid oscillations, delays, and unintended effects.
Boundaries that shape behavior while preserving autonomy, creativity, and adaptation.
Feedback dynamics are the processes by which systems observe their own behavior and respond to it. Every living system depends on feedback: organizations, teams, markets, ecologies, human beings. Feedback is how systems learn. It is how they adapt, stabilize, amplify success, correct mistakes, and evolve over time. Without feedback, systems drift. With feedback, systems become capable of self-correction. This practice area focuses on designing useful feedback loops, understanding delays and distortions, recognizing reinforcing and balancing forces, and creating conditions for learning. The goal is not control. It is helping systems respond intelligently to reality.
